The Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to render administrative support services within the Subdirectorate Internal Control.

Job Purpose The Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to render administrative support services within the Subdirectorate Internal Control.
Minimum Requirements Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent qualification).
Recommendation Mathematics as a passed a subject; 1 year relevant working experience in a accounting and auditing environment.
Key Performance Areas Perform routine, prescriptive and transactional tasks; To render assurance services through post auditing; Render general clerical support services; Provide personnel administration clerical support services within the component.
Competencies A good understanding of the following:Legislative framework governing the Public Service; Working procedures in terms of the working environment; Clerical duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collecting statistics; Skills needed: Interpersonal Relations; Numeracy; Computer Literacy; Planning and organisation; Good verbal and written communication.
Remuneration R 216 417per annum (Salary Level 5)

Notes Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting. These candidates will be required to d practical and attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments/proficiency tests. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
