Southern African Transport Conference (SATC) invites student to apply for Bursary Programme 2025 academic year.
Bursary Closing Date: 02 December 2024
Bursary Overview
- Value: R170,000 (tax-free)
- Disbursement: Paid directly to the University in two instalments:
- February (50%)
- July (50%)
- Duration: One academic year (renewable annually based on satisfactory progress).
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship:
- South African citizen OR
- A citizen of a Southern African Development Community (SADC) country:
- Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
- Enrollment:
- Must be admitted or studying full-time towards a Masters or Doctoral research component in Transportation at a recognized South African University.
- Funding:
- Must not receive any other bursaries, scholarships, awards, or funding.
- Agreement:
- Must agree to the conditions set out in the bursary application form.

- Certified copy of your degree certificates and academic record.
- Certified copy of your professional body membership certificate (if applicable).
