Key Accountabilities

Verify the accuracy of invoice costs presented in service provider invoices. Process invoices received by suppliers promptly and accurately. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies. Respond to billing queries of service providers payments. Adjust balances of Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt (GRIR) accounts as required. Follow up on GRIR that have been long outstanding. Prepare monthly reports for monthly accruals and maintain service provider records. Carry out necessary adjustments for service provider statements to balance figures. Participate in journal entries and closure of accounts on systems. Review supplier statements and reconcile open invoices in the system. Align with transport controllers regarding supporting documents needed for payment Schedules. Be aware of all logistical activities.

Execute intercompany accounting transactions and balance corresponding accounts. Support the supervisor with data for cost reports for audit reviews. Provide management with accurate information to support the development of financial statements. Recommend improvements in work processes to enhance work effectiveness and control costs of invoice procedures. Apply evidence-based SHE practices in alignment with set standards for safe operations. Implement Sasol Group’s risk philosophy and enterprise risk management framework. Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to enable sound reporting and processing of invoices. Continuously improve own skills and knowledge. Complete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals.
