• Loading, transporting, and delivering items in a safe, timely manner to customers.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete
• Loading and unloading items from vehicles
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Inspect vehicles for safety issues and perform preventative maintenance and ensure that a checklist is completed on a daily basis and any issues to be reported to management timeously.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Comply with driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
• Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions safely
• Fill up on fuel, clean truck completely inside and outside .
• Inspect the trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find.
• Keep a log of activities.
• Report all mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel timeously.
• Keep truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
• Plan routes using maps or satellite tracking.
• Assist with loading and offloading of goods

Own transport is essential

Must have a drivers licence +PDP

Experience is a must

Experience in the FMCG industry is a plus

Gross Salary R6500-R7000.00 per month
