The Inspector will work within a wide range of industries in the private and public sectors and cover various aspects of condition monitoring. You will be exposed to various condition monitoring technologies and techniques that forms part of a specialised team of individuals who are very driven in the unique line of work. During this time you will be traveling the country and abroad and explore industries all over the world.

Minimum Requirements Qualification   

  • Minimum N.Dip Mechanical Engineering

Experience

  • 3 Years minimum experience in condition monitoring (CM)/assessment of mechanical equipment.
  • Additional Sales experience is desirable

Knowledge     

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Word

Skills  

  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Data acquisition and analysis using the following CM techniques:
    • Vibration
    • Infrared imaging
    • Ultrasound
    • Oil sampling
Duties & Responsibilities Develop, maintain training material and present training to client 

  • Develop training material
  • Maintain training modules, meeting accreditation and client requirements. Process accreditation admin
  • Deliver client training (on site and public training)
  • Deliver internal staff training
  • Review training brochures

Maintain and develop business development tools

  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Support the development of SOP & specifications
  • Acquire/maintain licenses for development tools
  • Identify industry developments in CM tools and equipment

Provide support and consulting services

  • Provide project support to services
  • Provide assessment reports on service data
  • Execute projects on-site and remotely
  • Project delivery executed as per scope
  • Develop Project Scoping and schedules
  • Develop Project masterplan, saved on shared network drive and filed in the portfolio of evidence

Adhere to general administrative tasks

  • Timesheets, leave and claims submitted on time
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards
  • Meet HSSE reporting targets
  • Attendance of team events
  • Follow training plan agreed with manager
  • Comply with client’s site safety requirements
