Clover is recruiting for a experienced Clerk at the Bloemfontein Distribution branch. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the Drivers job is checked to identify items of concern, improve Driver administrative behavior, simplify the reconciliation processing and provide timeous information to the Distribution Manager.

Job Advert Summary Clover is recruiting for a experienced Clerk at the Bloemfontein Distribution branch.  The purpose of this role is to ensure that the Drivers job is checked to identify items of concern, improve Driver administrative behavior, simplify the reconciliation processing and provide timeous information to the Distribution Manager.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
  • Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
  • Business English: Fluent
  • Computer literacy (Advanced)
  • Work shifts/weekends/public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities Debrief Process 

  • Ensure inspection of the Driver’s job for the day and identify concerns
  • Prepare and plan Driver’s job to simplify the recon processing
  • Provide timeous information to the Distribution Manager
  • Assist in ensuring the Drivers have accurate and efficient administrative capability

 

Administration

 

  • Capture Truck and Driver documentation
  • Capture information on Satellite and interbranch reports
  • Check and control printed invoices
  • Follow up on queries
  • Printing of invoices and load sheets after picking
  • Report on deviations on arrival times of trucks
  • Closing of routes on ERMS

 

General Duties

 Perform general office duties and administration as may be required.

  • Maintain and update filing/data/records/systems etc.
  • Handle documentation
  • Communicate with customers and employees where required
  • Relieve colleagues where necessary
