Capitec Bank, one of South Africa’s leading retail banks, is expanding its team by recruiting ATM Assistants (also known as Bank Better Champions) in Lephalale, Limpopo. Purpose:
The ATM Assistant will be responsible for welcoming clients, managing branch flow, and assisting clients at the ATM and other self-service channels. This role aims to enhance the overall customer service experience and ensure efficient service delivery.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum: No prior experience needed; only a Grade 12 National Certificate is required.
- Ideal: Prior experience in client service within the retail, financial, or banking sector is beneficial.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- Preferred: Familiarity with Capitec Bank environments, products, and business processes.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum Knowledge:
- Basic mathematical calculations
- Understanding how to engage effectively with clients
- Personal drive and a strong learning orientation
- Ideal Knowledge:
- Knowledge of branch operations
- Familiarity with Capitec Bank’s products and internal processes
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy (proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills
