House of Zwide is a South African soap opera set which tells the rags-to-riches tale of a fashionable Johannesburg family who bring high drama and ruthless ambition as they rise to the top of the cutthroat fashion industry. The show contrasts two worlds and two families: one is in Tembisa where the Molapo family reside and the other is Rosebank where we find the well-off and fashionable Zwide family. House of Zwide was created by BOMB and is a VideoVision Entertainment and BOMB co-production. The producers are Maqubool Mahomed and Thabo Boom; the executive producers are Desireé Markgraaf and Anant Singh. The directors include Adze Ugah, Angus Gibson, Phiwe Mkhanzi and Catherine Stewart. The head writer is Sydney Dire with a writing team including Catherine Stewart, Ephraim Sitsha, Glenrose Ndlovu and Londeka Mchunu.
