Former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh Tebow, and her husband, Tim Tebow, recently shared a joyous moment with their followers by revealing the gender of their upcoming baby on Instagram. The couple, who now reside in the United States, celebrated the exciting news with a glamorous baby shower held at a wine farm in Franschhoek, Western Cape.
A Special Connection and a Meaningful Reveal
The couple’s story began through Tim’s foundation, the Tim Tebow Foundation, after Demi’s late sister, Franje, was invited to attend one of their events. This connection eventually led to their marriage and their growing family.
In the Instagram video, Tim and Demi take part in a unique gender reveal. Blindfolded, they each painted a blank canvas while guessing the gender of their baby. As the video transitioned from black and white to color, the revealed paint was pink, confirming that they’re expecting a baby girl.
Demi shared her excitement with a heartfelt message:
“Baby Tebow is a… GIRL! 🎀🩷🕊️. Our greatest blessing. We’ve been praying for her long before we knew her, and we’re beyond grateful that God chose us to be her parents. We can’t wait to meet you, baby girl! 🥹”
A Special Bible Verse for Baby Girl
To make the gender reveal even more meaningful, the couple chose to incorporate a Bible verse on the canvas for their baby girl. The verse they selected was from Psalm 25:4-5:
“Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”
Demi-Leigh shared that they prayed their daughter would always find her identity in Christ, trusting in His love and truth.
Celebrating with Friends and Family
The Tebows also hosted a second gender reveal party in the United States, where they invited their friends and family to guess the baby’s gender. Demi-Leigh expressed her gratitude for their supportive community in Jacksonville:
